GCSE students, who were commissioned to design logos for the canteen and coffee shop in the new Skinners’ Kent Academy building, saw their artwork taken to the next level.

Matt Glassup, the in-house designer from Accent Catering came to show students how the designs had been developed and gave them a sneak peek of the possible final logos. These will now be applied to the signage, packaging and uniforms within the catering facilities when the new Academy building opens in Spring 2013.
Teacher of Design Technology, Mr Blake, said “The experience gave the students an excellent opportunity to see how designs evolve in industry and how graphics can be applied to a range of media.”
