The Skinners' Kent Academy celebrates IBCP Results
Back
Students at The Skinners' Kent Academy are celebrating outstanding achievements in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). This significant milestone not only highlights their hard work but also puts them in a unique position, with many able to accept university offers more than a month ahead of their A-Level counterparts.
The IBCP, which combines academic study with career-focused learning, offers students a well-rounded education that equips them with crucial skills for higher education, apprenticeships and the workplace. This year, a number of students have received offers from top Universities such as the University of Cambridge (Foundation Year in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences), University of Exeter (Finance with Industrial Experience), Bournemouth University (Archaeology) and University of Surrey (Civil Engineering).
Commenting on this year’s results, Miss Knowles, Principal said "We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students. Their exceptional results reflect their dedication, hard work and the invaluable support from our teaching staff.
As they move forward into the next chapter of their journeys, whether that be University, Apprenticeships or the world of work, we offer our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. We are confident that they will continue to excel and make a meaningful impact wherever their paths take them."
