Friends of The Skinners' Kent Academy

Introduction

The Friends of The Skinners’ Kent Academy is an informal networking group established to provide support and resources to the Academy.

Working as Academy Advocates, Friends of The Skinners' Kent Academy are a link between the Academy and their community.  They help to spread the word about the Academy’s achievements and aspirations and forge ties with local people and organisations.

Friends meet at the Academy several times a year to share ideas with each other and senior Academy staff.  They are also invited to key Academy events including Prize Giving and Open Events.

The membership of Friends of The Skinners' Kent Academy covers a variety of backgrounds and a diverse range of skills.  Current members have interests in areas such as education, politics, business, art and local community roles.  All are committed supporters of The Skinners’ Kent Academy, recognising the importance of its work in ensuring all the young people in the local community have the very best opportunities to learn and to be successful, as well as play their part in that community.

If you would like more information on how to join the Friends please send an email to info@skinnerskentacademy.org.uk
