Sixth Form students are celebrating an impressive set of A level results with 45% gaining A Level qualifications at grade A and 100% of grades awarded at A-D. The Skinners' Kent Academy Sixth Form students study the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme which gives students a variety of skills including engaging students in career-related studies. Paige Clarke, who will be starting an apprenticeship in banking said "I am really pleased I have gained an A in English and a B in Finance which shows my hard work and dedication has paid off." Principal Matthew Tompkins said "We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of both staff and students has led to such well-deserved rewards." |
The Skinners' Kent Academy A-Level successes follow our recent results in The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme. This programme offers our students a variety of opportunities and one student who benefited from this is Harry Rainer who said "I received a B in IFS which I am really pleased about and I hope to have a future in general management." Harry also achieved a 5 in ITGS and a 5 in Visual Arts and will be attending the University of East London.
These excellent results are further evidence of our recent Ofsted rating where the Academy Sixth Form was rated 'Outstanding', with our students being described as "Polite, friendly and very supportive of each other."
