House system update

10/9/2020

The House system is key to the ethos and culture of The Skinners’ Kent Academy. It provides the framework by which all students are supported to achieve their best and enhances a sense of community within the Academy which encourages a feeling of identity and belonging.

Our Houses at the Academy are named after famous scientists: Rosalind Elsie Franklin, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Charles Darwin and we are excited that this year we have introduced a fourth house named after Sir Isaac Newton.

Planning is currently underway for the 2020/21 events and activities so make sure you keep an eye out for communications about these. We also looking into renaming our Houses this Academic year and more information about this will follow soon.
