Sixth Form students celebrate best ever International Baccalaureate results!

9/7/2019

Building on the success of recent years, Sixth Form students at The Skinners’ Kent Academy are celebrating another excellent set of results in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme. Students have undertaken a suite of qualifications including: Visual Arts, History, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Business Management and the London Institute of Banking and Finance Diploma. The students’ achievements have enabled them to secure places at universities in: Canterbury, Cardiff, Central Lancashire, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Falmouth and Essex, amongst others.

The students have achieved the best ever results at the Academy in Biology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, History, English Language and Literature and Mathematical Studies.

Once again, the International Baccalaureate Career Related programme qualification has proved to be the path to success for our students, whether as a preparation for further study at university, or as a route into employment or apprenticeships. The Academy is tremendously proud of the achievements of all our students and wishes them continued success in their future endeavours.
Any student who sat GCSE this year and wishes to find out more about our International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme is most welcome to join us for a taster day on Thursday 18th July. For more details please email sixthform@skinnerskentacademy.org.uk or call 01892 534377.
