Peter Jones Enterprise Academy

We are excited to announce that The Skinners’ Kent Academy launched the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in September 2023.

Open to students in Year 12, the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy will equip young people with the practical skills and experience needed to excel in the working world through its tailored courses, developed by star of Dragons’ Den, Peter Jones CBE, in partnership with Pearson (Edexcel), the UK’s largest educational awarding body.  As part of the Enterprise Academy, students will be given a number of opportunities including:

• Exclusive access to £3,000 in Tycoon business funding
• A Chance to pitch to Peter Jones CBE as part of National Entrepreneur of the Year and win a business investment worth £5,000
• Access to regular Flash Challenges delivered by a diverse network of global business leaders, with multiple awards up for grabs
• Joining a network of PJEAs championing enterprise and entrepreneurship education
• Three years free support and Alumni status for PJEA graduates

The Enterprise Academy operates alongside the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme and is offered to students enrolled in Business Management, LIBF Diploma in Financial Studies, Digital Society or Film Studies. Individuals with a strong interest in entrepreneurship or the business world will also be able to sign up to the Enterprise Academy, irrespective of their chosen subjects.
