SKA Fundraising Team

We are a small group of individuals focused on raising funds to support our students' activities, resources, and the overall Academy experience. Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to the best opportunities, and we need your help to make this happen.

Small gestures of help and support from our school community can make a significant difference when we all work together, so please know, any support is welcomed.

We are looking for:

1. Volunteers: Whether you have a few hours a week or can help with specific events, your time and talents are invaluable. We are looking for Parents/Carers who are passionate about our Academy's success and can contribute in various ways, from event planning, brainstorming, volunteering at events to community outreach.

2. Business Support: If you own or have connections with local businesses, we would greatly appreciate your assistance in securing sponsorships, donations, partnerships, or if you'd prefer, please provide us with an introduction to your contact we'd be happy to take it from there. These contributions will significantly enhance our fundraising efforts and provide more opportunities for our students.

3. Spreading the Word: If time is an issue, even simply sharing information about fundraising events and campaigns on social media platforms will help us reach a much wider audience.

4. Donating Items: You can contribute homemade items for bake sales or fairs and donations such as gift baskets, event tickets, or professional services for raffles and auctions that may take place.

5. Financial Contribution: You may prefer to contribute by donating money directly to the Academy, either in a one-time gift or through a recurring donation. This can be done via ParentPay under ‘Pay for other items’ then ‘Charity Donation’. You may prefer to sponsor specific Academy projects, as they arise, for example purchasing new sports equipment, books for the library, or funding a trip, particularly for students from a more disadvantaged background.

By joining the team or offering your support in other ways, you will play a crucial role in enriching our Academy community. It's also a fantastic way to meet other Parents/Carers, share your skills, and make a meaningful impact on our children's education.
