Drama fun in the Amphitheatre

Last week, the Year 8 students had the opportunity to work in the Amphitheatre for their Drama lesson. Their focus of the lesson was on devising their own work from a given stimulus.

Working in the amphitheatre allowed them to explore how Drama might have been performed in Ancient Greek times, looking at how the voice carried into the audience and to the god of Theatre and Wine, Dionysus, alongside how staging might have been used.
