Some of our students spent their half-term in Paris. The trip was packed with excitement, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Our first stop in France was the charming Beussent Lachelle Chocolate Factory, where we learned how French chocolate is made – and got to sample some too! After checking into our hotel in Paris, we enjoyed dinner in the beautiful Floral Gardens of Parc de Vincennes whilst the resident peacock put on a special display for us.

The second day started at the Cité des Sciences, where the Cats and Dogs exhibition was a favourite. Next, we took in breath taking views from the top of the Montparnasse Tower and had a delicious lunch at nearby Flams. In the afternoon, we climbed the iconic Arc de Triomphe and strolled along the famous Champs-Élysées. The day ended with a boat trip along the Seine where we got to see the Eifel Tower up close.

The third day was pure fun at Parc Astérix. With hardly any queues, we spent the day hopping from ride to ride, enjoying every minute of the thrilling attractions.

Our final day came all too soon. On our journey home, we visited the moving Vimy Ridge Canadian War Memorial, taking time to reflect before catching the ferry back to the UK.

It was a fantastic trip full of fun, learning, and memories we’ll cherish for years to come.
