Success at the UCL Ocean Health Challenge!
Back
We are incredibly proud to announce that Emily Burton has achieved second place nationally in the Year 7 category of this year’s UCL Ocean Health Challenge!
Her entry featured a creative and environmentally conscious re-design of a recyclable sandwich bag, made using greaseproof paper. The judges were impressed by both the innovation and the sustainable thinking behind her design.
She was awarded £50 in prize money, with an additional £100 awarded to the school. Where the school prize will be used to support and develop Engineering-related projects and activities.
This is a brilliant achievement that showcases the talent, creativity, and environmental awareness of our students. A huge well done!
The UCL Ocean Health Challenge will return next year, and we look forward to seeing more of our students getting involved and sharing their innovative ideas to help protect our oceans.
