Our Year 10 Unit Award students took part in a fantastic end-of-year celebration, bringing together teamwork, knowledge, and a healthy dose of competition!
The students kicked off the sunny afternoon with a series of team-building exercises designed to challenge their communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
The competition began with a adventure quiz, inspired by everything they’ve learned this year. Divided into three teams - Blue, White, and Red (a colourful nod to le Tricolore, the French flag) - students tackled a series of creative challenges covering British Sign Language, European cities and flags, Spanish festivals and artists, famous explorers, and key facts from our cultural studies language lessons.
The stakes were high: each player had the chance to win 10 house points, with two exclusive rewards up for grabs - a Platinum Ticket for the student who showed the best leadership skills (Marco P) and a Golden Ticket for the one who was the most involved (Skye F).
The results were tight! The Blue Team were ahead with 40 points, closely followed by the White Team on 39 and the Red Team with 35 - proof that every team gave it their all.
We all finished the session with a final team-building challenge that made everyone work together. I am very proud to see how our students rose to the occasion with energy and enthusiasm, and remembered so much from the course we have completed this year.
It was a brilliant afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and camaraderie - the perfect way to celebrate a year of hard work and achievement!
