Maths Puzzle Day

On Monday, The Happy Puzzle Company visited the Academy to work with Year 7 and selected Year 8 students. During the sessions, students worked in teams to solve a range of different problems from balancing penguins on an iceberg to trying to create a complete loop of road using 20 different pieces. 

Through completing these puzzles students were able to develop their communication skills, resilience and problem-solving skills. The students did fantastically and it was so lovely to see them all get involved and work together to reach the solution. 

Well done to all of the students involved, you all did brilliantly and exhibited many MYP attributes.
