Silver Duke of Edinburgh

Last weekend 15 Year 10 students took on the challenge of completing their Silver D of E. They set off in the glorious sunshine, navigating their way through woodland, completing the first day in just over 7 hours. Their first camping night they were all in high spirits cooking pasta, noodles and marshmallows! 

The second day came with a few blisters; they pushed on through with only a few wrong turns. 

Unfortunately, the weather then turned, waking up on the third and final day to rain. Putting their tents down was a struggle, however they set off with the finish line in sight. 

Finally, the sun began to shine as they walked up and down the South Downs, ending in a very picturesque Seven Sisters country park! 

Every single student should be very proud all passing their Silver D of E!
