Year 11-13 Apprenticeship Day

On Tuesday, 19 students from Years 11-13 joined an Apprenticeship Academy Day in Tonbridge to learn what an apprenticeship is, how to find apprenticeships, how to apply for them including using social media and what to expect at an assessment centre. They also heard first-hand from a newly appointed apprentice who started his role 2 months ago. The day involved getting hands on with some tasks such as a personality quiz and working in a group to prioritise and negotiate with people who were new to them. Lots of new learning from the day, as well as figuring out next steps such as using LinkedIn to find employers and work experience opportunities!
