Year 8 Trip to Hampton Court Palace

Despite the water issues, Year 8 had a wonderful trip to Hampton Court Palace last week. The trip was part of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Interdisciplinary Unit, where students learned from and made connections between History, Art, and Careers. Students got to explore the different areas of the palace, including Henry VIII’s apartment, the Tudor Kitchen and the Great Hall. Students then finished the day on the ice rink, as well as exploring the palace gardens and maze.

Following the trip, Year 8 students will produce their annual MYP Interdisciplinary Project, due next term. We are now looking forward to our next MYP trip to France with Year 7!
