Careers Update

Last week a group of students visited Maidstone Hospital for an event focused on NHS careers. Students met apprentices and degree apprentices across a wide range of medical, clinical and support roles. The sessions were very interactive, including CPR practice and working with a simulation mannequin-patient.

This week, Plumpton College are returning to speak with our Sixth Form about Higher Education options, and our Year 11 interviews continue to support their thinking about next steps after GCSEs. All parents can log in to Unifrog at unifrog.org/parent with SSO using the email provided to school. Notes, links and actions from Year 11 interviews will be shared on each student’s profile.

We will also be hosting the first of our alumni events in the New Year. Anyone interested in joining our alumni community is encouraged to sign up here.

One final reminder, we have multiple on-site events and trips planned for the remainder of this year. Please ensure you discuss these opportunities with your child before giving consent, as demand often exceeds places and we want to make sure that all places are used well and benefit each student.
