SKA in the Media - Water Issues

You may have seen our Principal, Miss Knowles, on various news channels in the last few weeks. Lots of them have been asking us about how the water issues have been affecting our Academy, as well as the students within it. We have been trying our best to be the voice of our school community, and portray the frustration and confusion that we have all been feeling towards the situation at hand. On a positive note, the increase in media interest at the Academy has opened up opportunities for our students to learn more about media and the industry; four of our students got the opportunity to be interviewed by Sky News on Tuesday, sitting in front of a camera and talking with a journalist. All students showed absolute professionalism and we are incredibly proud of how well they represented our Academy and the community. Well done Darcy, Josh, Doris and Ted.
