Procurement Talk to Year 10 Business Students

This week, Year 10 Business students welcomed Mrs Healey to their lesson to talk about her work in Procurement as part of their study of Operations Management. Mrs Healey shared her experience of a 20-year career with Price Waterhouse Coopers, where she held the role of Chief of Staff in the UK, before making a career change into teaching last year. As well as teaching science, Mrs Healey now supports the Skinners’ Trust with aligning our Procurement processes across all six schools in the Trust.

Through the presentation Mrs Healey was able to share first hand experience of the professional services industry, the requirements of the workplace, the skills she has developed which she is now able to draw upon in a different context.
