Chess Final

On Tuesday we held our SKA Chess final. Students came and watched the match at lunchtime, and we also livestreamed it throughout the Academy for everybody. Last year’s winner, Freddie Francis (Year 11) won an epic contest against Jackson McCabe (Year 12). It was a hard fought match with both players attacking each other from the start. Jackson was in a strong position before suddenly losing his Queen, enabling Freddie to turn the tide and clinch the game.
