HAP Revision Workshop

On Wednesday, our High Ability students in Year 7 and 8 took part in a workshop to look at revision techniques on how to stretch their recall to reach higher grades.  

We looked at why and how we revise, learning about ‘The Forgetting Curve’ followed by various different ways to recall knowledge to help remember key facts.  Students then applied their learning to create a flash card with graduated questions and then a mind map that connected deeper knowledge.

Students then took away their work to help them in preparing for the End of Year assessments.
