Exciting New Opportunity: Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme for students joining Post-16 education from September 2026.

Students will complete the five sections of the Award: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition, and Residential, developing valuable leadership, teamwork, resilience, and independence skills along the way.

The programme is open to both direct applicants aged 16+ and students who have already completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and wish to progress to Gold.

Provisional Key Dates:
– 15 May 2027 – Skills Training Day
– 26–30 May 2027 – Practice Expedition
– 11–16 July 2027 – Assessed Expedition

This is a fantastic addition to our enrichment offer and a unique opportunity for students to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
