Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award is an international voluntary activity programme for young people aged 14 to 24. At The Skinners' Kent Academy students can undertake DofE Awards at Bronze (Year 9) and Silver (Year 10) levels.

Any young person can do their DofE – regardless of ability, gender or background.

By completing a DofE programme young people have the opportunity to make new friends, improve their confidence and self-esteem whilst enhancing their future CVs and college, university and job applications.

How do I sign up?

Letters will be sent to parents/carers when their child is in the appropriate year group.

If you have any questions about the Duke of Edinburgh award, please email Miss Simpson (info@skinnerskent.org.uk).
