SKA Learning Council

The Skinners’ Kent Academy is committed to integrating Student Voice into the classroom. This initiative encourages students to reflect on their learning experiences and to share both positive and constructive feedback with staff.

The SLC comprises eleven students from Year 8 to Year 11. They meet once a term during the Academy day for an hour. These meetings are facilitated by Mrs Ribbans-Opara, Vice Principal, and Mr Rowe, Assistant Principal, providing students with the opportunity for in-depth discussions with members of the Senior Leadership Team. The outcomes of these discussions will be shared with the wider Senior Leadership Team, Curriculum Leaders, and relevant classroom teachers.
